Welcome to Boys and Girls Commandos Volleyball!
After a great season in 2025, the Commandos are gearing up and getting ready to get back to the court for another exciting season in 2026!
Season Details:
- Start date: August
- End date: October
- Practices: Begin in late June/early July
- Tryouts: Tuesday, April 21, 2026—Girls 5:00-6:30, Boys 6:30-8:00. Cajun Elite training facility, 106 Eppler Rd, Lafayette LA
- Parent Informational Meeting: Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 6:00. East Regional Library, 215 La Neuville Road, Youngsville LA
Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the sport, we welcome all aspiring athletes to join us in shaping our team and creating memorable moments on the court. Let’s make this season one to remember!
2026 AHSA Volleyball Tryout Registration
Tryout date: April 21, 2026—Girls from 5:00-6:30 and boys from 6:30-8:00
Eligibility: Boys and girls--Should be at least 10 years old. If you have never played for AHSA before or if you have played for another ACEL member organization, please clear eligibility with coaches before tryouts. Must be 12 by September 1, 2026 to be rostered on a varsity team. Girls will have a JV team, and boys will *likely* have a JV team. Boys ages 10-11, please register and we will discuss the JV team at tryouts with the parents.

Cross Country
Welcome to the heart-pounding world of varsity and junior varsity cross country! At AHSA, we embrace the challenge of the open trail, where every step is a testament to determination and perseverance. Our team is more than just runners; we're a tight-knit community fueled by passion and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a newcomer eager to test your limits, our coaches are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.
The Cross Country season is September to October. Each year, we host an Invitational Meet at Acadiana Park. Join us as we lace up our shoes, hit the trails, and chase our dreams one stride at a time.

Tennis
Tennis Season is March to April. The inaugural ACEL season was in 2022. We do our best to allow students to participate in both Track and Tennis at the same time. We are looking forward to growing our team!
